re:FORM opened its doors in Decatur in 1999. Founder Stacie Monroe was joined at the firm by her long-time friend and collaborator Erin Christman in 2007. Stacie and Erin both received their Masters in Architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where they worked on historic preservation projects including Laura, Enterprise and Evergreen Plantations. After moving to Georgia, they worked for the noted Atlanta firm Surber, Barber, Choate & Hertlein Architects P.C. "Stacie and I have similar education and training, but our natural abilities are so different that we make a great team. We're both strong designers but Stacie is very conceptual and also very strong on the business side, while I focus more on the details," says Erin. re:FORM enjoys continued success in the Atlanta design community with a number of award winning projects under their belts. A sure sign of quality is the respect of their peers and those who work with them. "It's satisfying as a builder to be part of a project that, when you walk away, you can be proud of it, and that's what happens when I work with Stacie and Erin," says Wes Stone, partner of Decatur based general contracting company, John Wesley Hammer Construction.
